OK, yes guys, I JUST changed most of the default Serendipity 3.0 theme into an orange flavored one. I can't do structure since everything was broken down by Smarty's .tpl template formats (annoying, but somehow more user friendly).
So it's annoying and it's orange. Welcome to my website.
This should more or less be a daily blog I want it to be. All other journal sites will be deemed irrelevant except for one livejournal, since that's where I write juicy relationship stories.
But you can only read it if you're my friend.
Anyway, it's looking sort of like a standard blog, right? I'll mix it up to be even spiffier sometime, but for now I'm relatively happy with this.
Onto the coppermine image gallery! I'm moving over to coppermine instead of settling on zenphoto, because though zenphoto is really simple, that's also a limiting factor.

Ok, so I dumped textpattern and dragonfly CMSes. I figured, hey, I actually don't need complex CMS systems. All I need for Flavored Orange! is a blogging system. So I head over to OpenSourceCMS to play around with all their neat features… and I settled on Serendipity. It's pretty neat. Less retard-proof than Wordpress, less technical than Textpattern, less forum-like than Dragonfly. It's all good.
And I'm very attached to names. I used to go by the handle “Serendipity” because I was a favorable mistake in a lot of people's eyes. And my very favorite number EVER is 9. So a blogging application by the name of “Serendipity” that has “s9y” as an abbreviation just called out to me.
Aside from that personal detour, welcome to Flavored Orange. I'm going to work on it with whatever time I have, being a dating full time student, eventual part time worker. For now, be happy I've seemed to settle on Serendipity to run my blogging. I'll put up coppermine gallery sometime soon, with new arts! Sometime. Soon. Ish.
